INSTITUTIONAL ACTIVITIES

Akena Institutional Activity is for propagandise of sport performed, generally through carrying out of courses for young boys/girls, athletic activity for young people, and achievement of sports events .

-- COURSES : Polisportiva Akena actually carry out into primary and secondary schools of Turin, several courses, whether during normal hours or not, involving annually from 1500 to 2000 children.
This happen both with own enterprise and supporting bodies such as Turin Municipality, Federations, sports propaganda organizations, M.I.U.R (Education Ministry University Research) .
This year as well, courses are addressed to the ludique motorial activity for young boys/girls of first and secondary classes and of minibasket and volley-ball for the other classes.

-- ATHLETIC ACTIVITY : member of F.I.P. (Basket Italian Federation) C.S.I.(Italian Sport Centre); with athletic level, polisportiva Akena has both in boys category and girls , several teams, which number change every year according to categories belongings. Even if she have Senior categories teams , its priority is development of juvenile and children (8 – 15 years) field.

-- SPORT EVENTS: In this field polisportiva Akena is particularly active ; in fact it promote and achieve annually many initiatives with local characteristics but also national and international.
